Independent Publishing with Purpose

Welcome to Latter-Day Scribes & Publishing

Latter-Day Scribes & Publishing was founded with a simple commitment: to preserve and publish thoughtful works rooted in faith, study, and sincere inquiry.

Established by Gordon Ormesher of Cocolalla, Idaho, and Haley Nelson of Priest Lake, Idaho,  our publishing house exists to support authors who approach sacred subjects with care, depth, and reverence.

We believe that meaningful religious discussion deserves careful scholarship, respectful dialogue, and professional presentation.

Information

Featured Author: Gordon Ormesher

Gordon Ormesher is the author of Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus, 15 Days not 7 Days, a work exploring the timeline of the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ through careful examination of scripture.

His research invites readers to reconsider commonly held assumptions while remaining grounded in biblical text.

Gordon will be featured in an upcoming interview with Global Book Network, where he will discuss the themes and scholarship behind his work.

We are honored to support his contribution to faith-centered dialogue.

Featured Work: A Harmonized Timeline of the Atonement and Resurrection

Gordon Ormesher’s recent publication presents a detailed chronological study of the final events surrounding the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Through careful comparison of the four Gospel accounts —
Gospel of Matthew,
Gospel of Mark,
Gospel of Luke, and
Gospel of John

his research proposes a fifteen-day timeline that seeks to harmonize the accounts without omission or contradiction.

Rather than challenging scripture, this work aims to reconcile the Gospel narratives into a cohesive chronological framework that preserves every recorded event.

This approach invites readers to revisit familiar passages with renewed attention and careful consideration.
